Mar. 20--Owners of famous American brands including Pepsi, Pizza Hut, KFC and Avon do not fear a backlash against their businesses in Thailand due to possible anti-US sentiment arising from America's imminent military action against Iraq.

Although they said it was difficult to speculate how the Thai people would react to American businesses, the companies had already applied "precautionary measures" to their operations in the event of war.
