WASHINGTON, DC--Long missing from the debate on global climate change and the negotiations surrounding greenhouse gas emissions are the significant measures being undertaken by the states, says a Pew Center on Global Climate Change report, "Greenhouse and Statehouse: The Evolving State Government Role in Climate Change."
The report was prepared by Barry Rabe of the University of Michigan and features case studies from a number of states. The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) assisted the Pew Center in identifying case studies from a broad range of states and in reviewing the document.
