Feb. 24--ONWARD & UPWARD:
--UMB Financial Corporation announced that Keith Monson was promoted to senior vice president and director of corporate compliance. Before coming to UMB Bank in 2001, Monson was an assistant vice president and compliance officer at First National Bank & Trust Company in Columbia. He is a graduate of Northeast Missouri State University, now Truman State, in Kirksville. Monson is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, or CRCM. He also is a CRCM advisory board member.
--Audrey Spieler with House of Brokers Realty, Inc. has been awarded the Accredited Buyer Representative designation by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.
--Union Planters Bank announced the promotion of John Keller to vice president at the bank's Paris Road branch. Keller will continue in his duties as a commercial relationship manager focusing on serving the bank's commercial customers in the Columbia area. Keller has more than eight years of experience at Union Planters Bank and was promoted to the position of AVP in 2000. He earned his degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a dual major in finance and real estate.
--Union Planters Bank announced the promotion of Rhonda Mueller to executive vice president for the bank's Mid-Missouri region. Mueller began her banking career in 1983 and has held many positions over the years including teller, new accounts, investment sales, insurance, loan processing, originating and underwriting home loans. She joined Union Planters Bank in 1991 when she was brought on to be responsible for developing the residential lending department.
She has been a delegated underwriter through FHA since the early '80s and was the second in the state of Missouri to have her VA LAPP approval. She also sits on the technology committee responsible for developing mortgage software for Union Planters Bank.
