OAKLAND, Calif. _ They say money talks. If it does, Warriors power forward Danny Fortson can't hear it. Or isn't listening to it.

Fortson has been suspended by the NBA for four games and has forfeited $226,806 in salary for committing flagrant fouls this season. His latest flagrant foul came in the Warriors-Detroit Pistons game Friday, when he threw Ben Wallace to the floor while going for a rebound.

The league uses a points system to penalize players who commit flagrant fouls. A player is allowed a maximum of five points. He loses one game each for his sixth and seventh points and two games for every point after that. Fortson received two one-game ...
