Mar. 20--YORK COUNTY DAY TO BE HELD TODAY: The 15th annual York County Day will take place today at the S.C. State Museum in Columbia. The event, which is designed to enhance awareness of issues affecting York County, gives residents and local officials a chance to inform state legislators and agency officials in Columbia about issues concerning them.
Gov. Jim Hodges and James R. Morris, chief of staff for the S.C. Department of Commerce, will speak at the event, which will include a legislative reception sponsored by Burkett, Burkett, Burkett CPAs and York Electric Cooperative.
