Sanmina-SCI
San Jose, CA--As a result of their merger last year, Sanmina-SCI Corp. made several management changes. Robert Bradshaw, president and general manager of the EMS division, resigned. He has since become the CEO for MSL Corp. Han Pillai, previously the executive vice president, will replace Bradshaw. Sanmina-SCI also promoted several more vice presidents to presidents of their divisions. Daniel Vick will manage the company's Cable Systems division; Steve Bruton will head up the PCB fabrication division; David Rees will be responsible for the Europe/Middle East division; and Michael Clarke will oversee the company's Enclosure Systems.
FASTechnologies
FASTechnologies Inc. promoted Ofer Ton to the position of chief operating officer. Ton will be responsible for all company operations, both domestic and international. Ofer joined FASTechnologies in 1999 as westerns regional sales manager, having gained broad experience in the PWB industry with such notable companies as Optrotech, Highland Technology, and GE/Fanuc.
"I'm very pleased to have Ofer at the helm of FASTechnologies," said company founder Rob Henningsgard. "Ofer has a real eye for money-saving opportunities in PWB manufacturing plants, and he's already got the engineering team translating those opportunities into new products. That's the kind of thinking our industry needs if it's going to survive and prosper in the future."
Rogers Corp.
Rogers, CT--Rogers Corp. hired James M. Rutledge as vice president of Finance and CFO. Rutledge was most recently CFO for Baldwin Technology, an international manufacturer of accessory and control equipment for the printing industry. He is a CPA, earned his bachelors degree from Assumption College, and holds an MBA from Rutgers University. In his new assignment, Rutledge will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations worldwide.
