_What does DXM do? It can make people act and feel psychotic. They can have severe abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, hallucinations and irregular heartbeat.
_Does it kill people? Rarely, but it can, especially it interacts with another medication such as an antidepressant. DXM itself can cause heatstroke if taken during hot weather; it could slow down or stop breathing, or cause coma.
