DURHAM, N.C. _ Duke's 97-55 victory over St. John's Sunday in Cameron Indoor Stadium had an uncommon amount of drama for such a blowout.

That's because for a long period of time, there was a question of whether the Red Storm might score again. Ever.

St. John's (18-9) was doing fine through seven minutes of its made-for-television visit to Tobacco Road. It was leading 20-13, third-ranked Duke (25-2) looked only moderately interested and even the Cameron crowd wasn't revved much past idle.

Then Duke's Jason Williams scored on a drive. Then Carlos Boozer made a free throw. Then he scored on a dunk. Then he scored in the low post.
