In my lifetime, I consider only two baseball broadcasters to be so special that they could stand hundreds of feet away, in a crowded room, without being seen, but be instantly recognizable. One is the Los Angeles Dodgers' Vin Scully. The other is Harry Kalas.
Now, like Scully, Kalas takes a backseat to no broadcaster of this or any other era. Harry Kalas has been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
