The federal Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) last week announced the availability of funding to identify treatment models for people with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders and to help minority communities battling the twin epidemics of substance abuse and HIV/AIDS.
CSAT will make available $3 million to support nine grants of $300,000 to $400,000 to identify effective substance abuse treatment models for persons with both substance abuse and mental health disorders.
