PHILADELPHIA _ As public as their jobs are, it's rare to see Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb together off the football field.
The head coach and quarterback have the most important working relationship in the Eagles' hierarchy. The drafting of McNabb in April 1999 was Reid's first and most important major decision after being hired three months earlier. The development of McNabb is preeminent in everything Reid does in trying to turn the Eagles into a Super Bowl caliber team.
Yet their chance meeting in a hallway at the Eagles' complex Monday, in the presence of a couple of reporters, provided an unusual glimpse of them in a relaxed setting.
