A Michigan judge has given Marilyn Manson a belated Christmas present. Despite prosecutors' claims that the singer sexually assaulted a security guard during a concert, Clarkston District Court Judge Gerald McNally dropped charges against Manson that could have sent the shock-rocker to jail.
Manson had been charged with criminal sexual misconduct _ a fourth-degree felony that carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison _ as well as a misdemeanor count of assault and battery for his concert antics during the July 30 stop of Ozzfest at the DTE Energy Music Theater in suburban Detroit.
