Medical Perspective Needed

The article "Court Overturns 'Partial Birth' Abortion Ban" focused entirely on the legal and political arguments and comments offered by lawyers for the National Right to Life Committee and the Center for Reproductive Law and Policy (Nov. 1, 1999, p. 30).

More recently, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued contradictory findings covering similar laws in Wisconsin and Illinois, and it is expected that the Supreme Court will consider these bans soon.
