DURANGO, Colo. -- Aaron Humiston, 18, will graduate from Bayfield High School this spring having spent an extra year in high school, but will also leave with an associate of arts degree from Pueblo Community College.
The senior, in his fifth year of high school, hasn't seen much of the purple and gold of his high school this year. Instead, he takes his classes at Pueblo Community College's Durango campus.
And he's taking the classes -- Introduction to Philosophy, Community Based Corrections, Music Appreciation and Drawing 1 -- free of charge.
