Q. The actor who played the doctor visiting Syd in a recent episode was on a sitcom a few years back. It is driving me nuts trying to think of the name of the show. I can see him as a goofy brother. What show was it? _ Sue, via e-mail
A. Sean O'Bryan was the guest star in the March 30 "Providence" episode, playing an old medical school pal of Syd's who was thought to have the Ebola virus. O'Bryan played a lighter role in the 1998 sitcom "Brother's Keeper," as the irresponsible brother of single dad William Ragsdale. You'll see him later this year in director Garry Marshall's "The Princess Diaries."
Q. I've really been enjoying the old reruns of "Zorro" on the Disney Channel. Guy Williams was a great Zorro. Did he do anything else after "Zorro" and "Lost in Space"? _ G.P., Milwaukie, Ore.
A. After starring in Walt Disney's TV "Zorro" in the 1950s, Williams made three movies ("Prince and the Pauper," "Captain Sindbad" and "Damon and Pythias") and had a recurring role on Bonanza as cousin Will Cartwright. In 1965 he played Professor John Robinson on "Lost in Space," his last major role. The actor died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1989.
