Apr. 26--ST. JOSEPH, Mo.--The St. Joseph area is getting 134 new jobs.
The jobs were announced Wednesday by two economic development agencies, Cornerstone Alliance of Benton Harbor and the Michigan Economic Development Corp. (MEDC) of Lansing.
The bulk of the new jobs will come from an long-established local company and the remainder from a start-up company.
The long-established business, IPC Communication Services Inc., will add 106 new jobs to its current local employment of more than 500 people. The new jobs will be added over the next three years.
