MINNEAPOLIS _ Duke guard Chris Duhon and Arizona guard Gilbert Arenas both sustained injuries during the semifinals. But both players are expected to be ready to play in the NCAA title game. In fact, both players came back to play in their games on Saturday.

Duhon bumped his head on the floor after a collision with Maryland's Steve Blake and suffered a mild concussion. Arenas suffered a blow to his chest when he was trying to break through a screen.

Stat Facts

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski earned his 55th NCAA Tournament victory with the win over Maryland on Saturday night. That ranks second behind North Carolina coach Dean Smith's 65 wins. Krzyzewski now has nine Final Four victories, which ties him with Kentucky's Adolph Rupp for second place. UCLA's John Wooden leads with 21.

Duke has 51 3-point baskets in this tournament, which is nine short of the record of 60 set by Arkansas in the 1995 NCAA Tournament. Loyola Marymount had 56 in the 1990 Tournament, which ranks second

Duke is now 5-0 in the Metrodome. That includes winning the NCAA title in 1992 with victories over Indiana and Michigan.

Duke and Arizona have never played in an NCAA Tournament game. The series is tied 3-3, with Duke winning the last game, 95-87 in the championship game of the Maui Invitational in November 1997.
