Opening Day has come. After three years in a petri dish, the Florida Marlins like the view as much as anyone out there. They don't just see wins. They can squint and almost see playoffs. They can stand on their tip-toes today and even see more than that on the horizon.
"We've built something that in the very near future hopefully will be something resembling a dynasty," center-fielder Preston Wilson said. "That may be far-fetched to think about now, but hopefully we'll get there."
Opening Day has come. Nothing sounds far-fetched. Everything looks possible. Anyone can see it from every angle.
"We even look better in batting practice," manager John Boles said.
