Mar. 30--KeyCorp could have put its new vendor-management company anywhere, but SecoLink Settlement Services and its 82 new jobs will be coming to Amherst.

KeyCorp, the Cleveland-based parent company of Key Bank, said the new venture will be based in the building that once housed its computer services department at Main Street and Eggert Road.

"They spent six months evaluating all sites that Key Bank had available and spaces they might go to," said Beth A. Schumacher, senior vice president of the new company, a subsidiary of KeyCorp. She previously managed Key's…
