SOUL TRAIN DELIVERS AWARDS
R. Kelly and Jagged Edge swept top honors at the Soul Train Awards.
Kelly won the R&B male soul single award for "I Wish, while his TP2.com took best male album honor. Jagged Edge won best single for group, band or duo for "Let's Get Married" and the same category's best album award for J.E. Heartbreak.
Eminem, who won three Grammys last week, including one for best rap album, lost out in the album category to his mentor Dr. Dre. The video for Eminem's hit single Stan was beaten by Mystikal's "Shake Ya A--."
Queen Latifah, actor Shemar Moore and singer Mya were the hosts of the ceremony, taped Wednesday night for a syndicated broadcast to air as early as this weekend in some markets.
