LOS ANGELES XTREME: QB duo lends some hope
STADIUM: L.A. Coliseum.
COACH: Al Luginbill.
COORDINATORS: Jim Barker (offense) and Jim Hilles (defense).
TERRITORIAL ASSIGNMENTS: San Diego State, UCLA, USC.
KEY PLAYERS: CB Clifton Abraham (former FSU player); DE Curtis Eason (played for Arena Football League champion Orlando Predators last season); QB Tommy Maddox (backed up John Elway in Denver); WR Darnell McDonald (former receiver with the Bucs); RB Ken Oxendine (helped fill in for injured Jamal Anderson with Falcons two years ago); RB Rashaan Shehee (was special-teams standout with Chiefs).
X-FACTOR: Quarterback Scott Milanovich, a one-time Tampa Bay Bucs practice-squad player, was the first player chosen in the XFL draft. Even though Maddox outplayed him during training camp, Milanovich still gives the Xtreme perhaps the best 1-2 quarterback tandem in the league.
