LAS VEGAS OUTLAWS: QB position could be solid
STADIUM: Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas.
COACH: Jim Criner.
COORDINATORS: Vince Alcalde (offense) and Mark Criner (defense).
TERRITORIAL ASSIGNMENTS: BYU, Nebraska, UNLV.
KEY PLAYERS: WR Brett Bech (former New Orleans Saints reserve); G Lamont Burns (played with Washington Redskins and New York Jets); RB Chrys Chukwuma (went to camp with Cowboys in 2000); QB Ryan Clement (former Miami Hurricane played for Scottish Claymores in NFL Europe); C David Diaz-Infante (former Broncos starter).
X-FACTOR: Quarterback Chuck Clements, a former standout at the University of Houston, was expected to be the Outlaws' starter. But he hurt a shoulder during training camp, and that allowed Clement to take over. Clements is expected to return soon bolster a position projected as a key for the Outlaws.
