Jan. 19--NBYC NAMES LAYNE TO ADVISORY BOARD: Phil Layne has been appointed to the Fort Mill advisory board of National Bank of York County.

Layne, the Fort Mill postmaster, serves as vice president of the Rotary Club, president and former campaign chairperson of United Way and serves on the board of directors of the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce. In 2000, he was recipient of the Ben Franklin Postmaster of the Year Award.

Layne received his degree in business and economics from High Point University. He lives in Fort Mill with his family and is a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
