NEW ORLEANS _ Jim Haslett understands his New Orleans Saints have done what no other Saints team has done before.
They've won a playoff game.
And they did it by knocking off the defending NFL champions.
Stop the presses.
Listening to Haslett in his Monday press briefing, though, you get the idea that the Saints know that skeptics remain, that the St. Louis Rams' comeback attempt in the fourth quarter got almost as much attention as the Saints' breakthrough in the Louisiana Superdome, a 31-28 victory in the NFC wild-card round.
With another opponent that can score points in bunches on deck, the Minnesota Vikings, the Saints are still being overlooked, which is just fine with Haslett, the team's first-year coach.
The Saints are eight-point underdogs for Saturday's divisional playoff game in Minneapolis.
