Oct. 2--MORE EMPLOYEES DOING PERSONAL BUSINESS AT WORK: Overbooked lifestyles, two-parent working households and the restricted hours of some businesses are causing many employees to handle personal business during work hours.
The average worker spends about 22 minutes a day doing personal business on company time, according to a survey by Abilizer Solutions Inc., a San Francisco company whose software gives workers a chance to take care of personal needs by computer.
