DETROIT _ I am talking to Yoko Ono about "In My Life," the exhibit of her late husband's art that opens Friday in Royal Oak, Mich., but the real subject, as ever, is the legacy of John Lennon and the Beatles. Coming soon, she says, is a remastered edition of the album released only weeks before his murder, "Double Fantasy," which she says will contain a never-heard-before bonus track called "Help Me to Help Myself."
"That's a great song," I say, without thinking.
"Ahh, I guess I should have said it had never been released before," says Ono with a weary sigh. "Everything's been bootlegged, I suppose. Everything's out there."
