Aug. 18--No matter which California State Fair gate you enter, the presence of General Motors is not far away.

Coming in the main entrance, fairgoers will walk down General Motors Drive, on either side of which are the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche Ultimate Utility Vehicle, the just-out 2001 Pontiac Aztek and representative 2000 models from other GM divisions -- Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Oldsmobile. These divisions will have smaller exhibits throughout the fairgrounds.
