SELDOM SCENE, "Scene It All," Sugar Hill. 12 cuts.

This is the album a lot of bluegrass fans have waited four years for _ the first Seldom Scene album since the 1996 death of founder John Duffey.

At the time, the band was 25 years old and had just survived the departure of three other members a few months earlier. Banjoman Ben Eldridge was the only founding member left.

And for a time, the Scene considered hanging it up and becoming the never seen.

But thank goodness, they didn't.

"Scene It All" is worth the wait.
