Airlines should talk to customers before getting in the surcharge line

Quick, name a product or service for which the price has never increased. Guess what? There aren't any. That's because, at some time or another, prices will inevitably rise. And that certainly holds true for jet fuel.

So, although it's noteworthy that many of the world's airlines have imposed a fuel surcharge are about to, it should be no surprise to customers following the escalation of fuel prices over the last several months.
