Psychiatrists can talk about anything _ especially radio psychiatrists twice removed, like Dr. Frasier Crane.
Although he doesn't talk specifically about constipation, diarrhea, bloating and excessive flatulence, Emmy Award winner Kelsey Grammer has launched a public-education initiative to raise awareness of irritable bowel syndrome, also known as spastic colon.
Grammer and his wife, Camille, are making radio and TV public-service announcements in cooperation with the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders. They hope to make it easier for people to discuss their symptoms with their doctors, relatives and friends.
