Feb. 17--Apple Computer Inc. unveiled laptop computers at Macworld Tokyo on Wednesday that don't look much different or cost much more, but pack a bigger punch.

Blueberry and tangerine iBook laptops now come with twice the memory and hard disk space. Folks who would rather not carry a fruit-colored computer can purchase a graphite iBook with a faster processor; or a new high-end PowerBook, code-named Pismo that comes with two FireWire ports for high-speed connections with other devices.

Cupertino-based Apple also said its line of G4 computers would get a 50 megahertz speed boost. And, especially for the Japanese audience, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that…
