Multisite end users form energy ed. institute. (Institute for Multisite Energy Consumers)

LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. - Energy executives from some of the nation's largest retailers recently announced their intention to form a new organization located here known as the Institute for Multi-site Energy Consumers, or IMEC.

IMEC will serve as a provider of current, impartial information about energy deregulation and related topics for energy managers of multi-site companies. IMEC, known as the Market Council on Retail Energy Development when it was in its planning stages, is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year.
