KANSAS CITY, Mo.--Nov. 11--As many as 80,000 cars and trucks in the Kansas City area will need replacement windshields or other glass this year, give or take a few thousand panes.

The Kryger Glass Co. of Kansas City will supply the lion's share of those repair jobs with glass, adhesives and hardware.

The family-owned company might even perform the installation work itself at one of more than a dozen regional shops or with one of its 15 mobile service units.

If Kryger does the work, customers can be sure of one thing: they won't get the industry's lowest price.

And Bill Kryger Sr., semi-retired patriarch of the company, is as proud of that fact as he is of his three sons …
