Parents of high school students in Chautauqua County, N.Y., are reeling at their recent discovery that AIDS and drugs do touch people in small-town America. They used to think high school students in peaceful, rural communities had nothing more serious to worry about than homework and college plans. Now students are facing the loss of their dreams, hopes, and futures.
