MIAMI--Aug. 29--Call it a Big Mac Attack.

Hoping to steal market share from No. 1 competitor McDonald's, Miami-based Burger King is launching a $30 million advertising campaign this weekend to introduce the Big King, its competitor to McDonald's signature Big Mac sandwich.

The television and print ads, featuring college football coaches including Penn State's coach Joe Paterno, go after McDonald's head on and are built around the slogan "Taste Rules." Other spots will use the songs King of the Road by Roger Miller and Get Ready by the Temptations.
