Jun. 3--A Minneapolis company said Monday it will launch an online service aimed at giving public companies a faster and cheaper way to electronically file quarterly reports and other documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
CyberLaw, a subsidiary of Minneapolis-based Legal Research Center, said it is teaming with an East Coast software firm to provide a new Edgar conversion and filing service by the end of the month. Edgar is the SEC's electronic document filing system, which was developed in the 1980s but now lags behind current online technology.
