May 6-After seven years of business at 919 Iowa, Strong's Office Systems is returning to downtown Lawrence and to a site it had once occupied for 16 years.
The full-service supplier of office supplies and furniture needs additional space for expansion of its Furniture Express line, sales manager Tom Karasek said.
"Many people don't know we even carry furniture because we're in such a small confined space right now," Karasek said. "Our new location will enable us to showcase our furniture showroom in a 4,500 (square foot) area."
