Apr. 8--PEOPLES FEDERAL OFFERS DEBIT CARD Peoples Federal Savings & Loan is offering a new debit card called the Check 24 Card. The card has a Visa logo and can be used anywhere a Visa card is accepted. But the Check 24 Card acts like a check when used, taking money straight from a checking account. There are no finance charges. The card also works at automatic teller machines.
