Apr. 7--Two York County inns are going through changes in ownership or franchise affiliation. Ramada Inn-Carowinds near Fort Mill has been sold for an undisclosed sum to a corporation controlled by a Taiwanese couple who has moved to the area.

Rock Hill Inn on Anderson Road is in the final stages of affiliating with Rodeway Inn, a division of Choice Hospitality Corp. that includes Comfort Inn, Friendship Inn and Econo Lodge franchises.

Owners of both inns are in the process of renovating various sections of the facilities at a cost of about $500,000 for each inn.
