Feb. 21--Fuji Photo Film Co.'s investment in South Carolina continues to grow.

Earlier this month, Fuji announced plans to spend an additional $250 million at its Greenwood site for a color photo paper plant that will employ more than 300 people.

The company said the decision was "prompted" by U.S. competitor Kodak Co.'s dumping charges against the large Japanese film company.

Kodak's complaint charged Fuji with selling imported color paper cheaper than market value. The U.S. Commerce Department is investigating.

However, Fuji executives in South Carolina say the color paper plant is just another leg in Fuji's U.S. expansion strategy.
