Nov. 22--Travelers hoping to find seats on American Airlines flights departing Sacramento Metro Airport on Friday found the percentages going against them.

Only one outbound American flight - American 296, a daily morning run to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport - had taken on passengers by evening,

according to Bruce H. Mosley, cq deputy director of airports for Sacramento County.

Other American flights took off from Sacramento without passengers aboard. Likewise, only one arriving American flight had passengers when it landed at Sacramento Metro, Mosley said. That flight was from Dallas.

American has seven departures and seven arrivals …
