LEXINGTON, Ky.--Oct. 6--Whether it's the controversy surrounding the Kentucky Lottery Corp. or the play-by-play commentary of University of Kentucky sports, Ralph Hacker often seems to be part of the action.

Yesterday, he was in the spotlight again when HMH Broadcasting Inc., of which Hacker is an owner, won the right to buy the Lexington radio stations owned by Kentucky Central Life Insurance Co. Hacker is now vice president and general manager of the two stations - WVLK-AM (590) and WVLK-FM (92.9). "We couldn't be more excited," he said. "We're just thrilled to death to be Lexington's only locally owned radio station."
