Butler Drops B8A; Announces New Eight-Load System

REDMOND, Wash.--The Controls Division of Butler Manufacturing Co. announced a new version of its eight-load B8A energy management system last week that has direct temperature control of up to eight separate zones, powerline carrier (PLC), remote communication and 31-day data loging capabilities, EUN has learned.

The earlier B8A EMS, which cost $2,400 uninstalled, will be phased out, according to national sales manager Ted Thomsem. Users with the B8A will be able to get parts and service from Butler or its distributors for at least five years, barring problems with Butler suppliers, Thomsen added.
