Fisher Tops 1st Survey, Measurex Rated Worst

Fisher Controls has surfaced at the top of a list of nine firms in EUN's first reader survey on industrial process control manufacturers. Fisher, which scored 74.8, was followed by Foxboro, with a score of 70.7, and Cleaver Brooks, which scored 67.3.

The lowest rated firms are American Auto-Matrix, with a score of 59.3, and Measurex, which scored 51.0.

The survey on industrial process controls was included as "question 10' in the 1986 EUN Reader Survey of EMS Manufacturers questionnaire. The results of the EMS survey appeared last week in EUN.

As with the survey on EMS, readers were asked to rate manufacturers of industrial process control equipment with which they have had experience as "excellent,' "very good,' "good,' "fair' and "poor.' These ratings carried numerical values of 100, 75, 50, …
