Lt. Gen. James H. Ahmann is director, Defense Security Assistance Agency, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.
General Ahmann was born in 1931 in Louisville, Ky., where he graduated from high school in 1949. He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati for a year, then entered the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y., and graduated in 1954 with a bachelor of science degree and a commission in the U.S. Air Force. He received a master's degree in electrical engineering through the Air Force Institute of Technology program at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, in 1960 and graduated from ...
