DASHO, THE FLAGSHIP PROGRAM OF EUCLID-BASED PREEMPTIVE SOLUTIONS, FUNCTIONS LIKE A CARPET SWEEPER. It collects and compacts extraneous data, leaving behind cleaner Java code, which is smaller, faster-running and more secure. One of the most successful programs for Java reduction and security, DashO was designed to optimize Java programs, says company president Gabriel Torok.

In fact, DASHO is named after the programming command that means "optimized."

Through one function -- changing and shortening the names of identifiers within a java program -- DashO carries out what CTO Bill Leach calls "its three major purposes in life."
