WASHINGTON -- Vaccine manufacturer Aventis Pasteur is working with federal health officials to ensure that influenza vaccine doses are rerouted to high-risk individuals.
"The overall goal of this is to target the vaccine that we do have to the people who will definitely benefit and to do it in a way that's fair and equitable to the greatest number of people across our country," said Julie Gerberding, M.D., director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
