The annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) has kicked off in many areas around the country. The CFC affords federal employees a golden opportunity to donate to dedicated charities, such as the NRL Educational Trust Fund.
The campaign offers an ideal opportunity to help defend the defenseless by pledging to the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund. Found under the Human Service Charities of America (HSCA), our agency number is #2844. This ability to conveniently donate is easy and extremely helpful, not only to NRL, but also to our 50 state affiliates.
In addition to the CFC, the NRL Educational Trust Fund also participates in many state employee campaigns and some private-sector campaigns. [See sidebar.]
The CFC takes place two months each fall, with kick-off and closing dates set by each of the 347 campaign locations. The state employee and private-sector campaign activity also occurs in the fall months.
Thanks to the generosity of federal employees, the National Right to Life Educational Trust Fund generates over $150,000 a year. The Trust Fund shares those proceeds with its state affiliate groups who use the funds to educate their communities.
For example, Tennessee Right to Life President Brian Harris told NRL News, "Thank you so very much for your work which helped to make possible the CFC check for our educational fund.
Patricia Glenn, president of Pro-Life League of Nevada, said, "Thank you very much for the [workplace campaigns] check from the NRL Educational Trust Fund. We will use it for educational purposes in the state of Nevada."
