A new health plan option for federal employees in Illinois will exclude coverage of contraception, abortion services, sterilization, and artificial insemination. This new "faith-based health plan" is a high-deductible insurance plan paired with a health savings account. This option, the first of its kind, is offered by OSF Health-Plans, owned and operated by the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis.
