Atlanta-based Mariner Post-Acute Network is spinning off the assets of its American Rehability Services division to HealthSouth Corporation and National Rehab Partners Inc.

American Rehability operates more than 200 outpatient clinics and hospital therapy departments. Birmingham, Alabama-based HealthSouth, the nation's largest provider of outpatient surgery and rehabilitative health care services will acquire all of the outpatient assets in a cash transaction, the terms of which were not disclosed. …
